Brake Discs

Brake Discs

Long idle periods cause brake discs to corrode, and brake pad material can stick to them.

Warped discs cause uneven contact with pads, creating a wave-like wear pattern. This reduces braking effectiveness and results in vibration during braking — both at the pedal and steering wheel.

In more serious cases, one wheel may brake while another continues rolling.

Disc deformation also disrupts the operation of ABS and ESP systems that rely on brake precision, reducing overall driving safety.

Signs of disc wear:

  • Steering wheel vibration

  • Pulsating brake pedal
