Repair and diagnostics of the chassis and suspension
Hunters Garage offers a full range of services for diagnostics, maintenance and repair of your car's chassis and suspension. Our professional mechanics, using high-quality spare parts and modern technologies, repair and replace shock absorbers, springs, steering ends, ball joints, rods and other important elements.
What is included in chassis diagnostics?
Chassis diagnostics includes checking shock absorbers, levers, silent blocks, stabilizer struts and other chassis elements.
During chassis diagnostics, the technician checks the condition of shock absorbers and struts, springs, suspension arms, silent blocks, ball joints, steering tips, stabilizers and bushings. Hub bearings, CV joint dust boots, component mounts and other elements that operate under load are also inspected.
The presence of backlash, cracks, tears in rubber elements, oil leaks from shock absorbers and deformation of parts after hitting potholes or curbs is separately assessed. If there is uneven tire wear, steering wheel vibration or knocking while driving, this is also taken into account during the inspection.
Diagnostics are usually carried out on a lift, which allows a thorough inspection of the front and rear suspension from below. After the inspection, the car owner receives a conclusion about the condition of the chassis and recommendations: which parts are still serviceable and which need to be replaced in the near future.

How often should I have my chassis diagnosed?
It is recommended to check the chassis every 10-15 thousand km or when the first symptoms of a malfunction appear.
Is it necessary to do a camber adjustment after chassis repair?
Yes, this procedure is necessary after intervening in the chassis to maintain the correct wheel geometry.
Is it possible to drive with a knocking sound in the chassis?
It is not worth it, as this may indicate wear or damage to the chassis elements and affect driving safety.
