Brake Disc Resurfacing
Brake disc resurfacing is the process of removing a thin layer of metal from the surface of a brake rotor to eliminate wear, scratches, or other damage. Resurfacing may be appropriate in the following cases:

Wear or Warping: If brake discs are worn or damaged due to long-term use, overheating, improper installation of brake pads, or other factors, they can be resurfaced to restore a flat, smooth surface.

Vibrations or Pulsing: If the brake discs cause vibrations, shaking, or a noticeable pulsing effect during braking, resurfacing can help correct irregularities and improve geometry.

Scheduled Maintenance: Some car manufacturers recommend resurfacing brake discs during regular maintenance to keep the braking system performing optimally.
It's important to note that resurfacing has limitations. Manufacturers specify a minimum disc thickness, which must not be exceeded. If the disc reaches or falls below this threshold, it must be replaced.
