Which Car Sounds Can You Ignore—and Which Mean Trouble?

Whining or squeaking from the engine. This may indicate a worn timing belt, fan, or serpentine belt.

Clicking while turning. Could be a CV joint issue—ignore it, and it might damage the axle.
