Engine Repair

Engine Repair

Repairing or replacing an engine is never a desirable scenario in vehicle ownership.

Here’s how to reduce the chances of it happening:

  • During the warranty period, follow the official maintenance schedule. Often, warranty coverage on the engine, transmission, or clutch extends beyond the basic warranty with manufacturer approval—even partial compensation is worth it.

  • Always follow maintenance intervals and required services regardless of mileage. Occasional over-mileage is understandable, but the safe limit is about 500 km or 1 month.

  • Carefully inspect any used vehicle before purchase. You never know what happened before you owned it.

  • After purchasing a used car, perform comprehensive maintenance.

  • Avoid buying consumables and oils from unreliable sources. The issue isn’t just branding—it’s about proper certifications and avoiding counterfeits. At Hunters Garage, we take our suppliers and materials seriously.

  • Be realistic about wear and tear. While it’s ideal to use a car up to 200,000 km and replace it with a new one, that’s not always possible. For high-mileage vehicles, we recommend even more careful maintenance and shorter service intervals.

And we’re always ready to meet any service challenge.
